2019 Employee Giving Campaign
On May 6-17, every OakBend team member is invited to join the annual campaign by making a personal gift. Your gift of any amount will make a difference.
The employee giving campaign is a powerful opportunity for you to be a part of a patient’s healing process and brings us closer to our vision of being the best community healthcare organization.
Since 2017, more than 540 OakBend employees have committed almost $200,000 through the Seeds of Generosity initiative. The generosity of our employees has inspired giving from others in the community and helped us achieve significant milestones. Gifts from employees have been used to renovate the 4th and 5th floors and for improvements to common spaces on the first floor of our Jackson Street campus.
Funds raised through Seeds of Generosity 2019 will again benefit OakBend’s Vision 2020 campaign. We are in the final stages of the campaign and will complete Vision 2020 by the end of this year. Projects remaining in the campaign include updates to the nurses’ station in the emergency room, renovations on the skilled nursing unit, improvements to patient rooms on the 3rd floor, and updates to the common areas on the first floor- including renovated public restrooms and updated elevators.
Thanks to a generous grant from The George Foundation, all gifts made to Vision 2020 in 2019, including gifts to Seeds of Generosity, WILL BE MATCHED!
