At OakBend Medical Center, our on-site laboratory provides full-time pathology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. OakBend Medical Center features the only full service Microbiology Department in Fort Bend County. All cultures and samples are taken and tested in-house so you get test results as quickly as possible. This preserves viability of the tissue and allows for multiple conditions to be tested on one sample–reducing the likelihood of a repeat biopsy.

The laboratory is accredited with the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Dedicated staff members provide excellent customer service and comprehensive pathology support through a wide range of testing.
