Accreditation by The Joint Commission is considered the gold standard in health care. Specially trained health care professionals who are experts in their fields visited this facility to conduct a review that monitors how well our staff provides safe environments for care, educate patients about their treatment, protect patient rights and privacy, protect patients against infection, evaluate patient conditions correctly, and plan for emergencies.

The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association recognizes this hospital for achieving 85% or higher compliance with all Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Achievement Measures and 75% or higher compliance with five or more Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Measures for two or more consecutive years and achieving Time to Thrombolytic Therapy < 60 minutes 50% or more of applicable acute ischemic stroke patients to improve quality of patient care and outcomes.

Texas Ten Step Breastfeeding Education Award

The Texas Ten Step designation is awarded to facilities that are implementing policies that are aligned with the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding and encourages continued progress toward pursuit of Baby-Friendly Hospital designation.
