OakBend Medical Center’s Skilled Nursing Facility received brand new wood-look flooring this week. This renovation was made possible by the Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, which is the volunteer organization at OakBend Medical Center. The group has raised money for the hospital through various activities such as gift shop sales, bake sales, popcorn sales, silent auctions, and craft shows. These fundraising efforts have generously supported projects around the hospital including multiple projects in the Skilled Nursing Unit. The renovation in this unit is the beginning of many environmental and physical transformations at OakBend Medical Center’s Jackson Street Campus.
