The Houston Chronicle recently featured an article introducing OakBend Medical Center’s new board members and new development director, Alicen L. Swift.
Swift has a background in fundraising and comes to OakBend from Yellowstone Academy where she served as the director of development and communications. She has previously held positions with JDRF Houston Gulf Coast Chapter and Baylor College of Medicine.
OakBend Medical Center’s new board officers are: Barry Beard, president; Ron McCann, vice president; Tom Crayton, treasurer; May Tape, DDS, secretary; and James McClamroch, M.D., chief of staff. The remaining board members are: Norma Petrosewicz; Ed Uthman, M.D.; Jeff Council; Melissa Martin; Ruthanne Mefford and Mark Murray, M.D., past chief of staff.
