The American Heart Association has announced that OakBend Medical Center will be the Private Reserve Port Sponsor for this year’s Fort Bend County Wine from the Heart Event.
The event, scheduled for Friday, February 24th will benefit the American Heart Association and is hosted by the Fort Bend County Division Executive Committee. Heart Disease and Stroke are the #1 and #5 killers of all Americans. It is the goal of the American Heart Association to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
The Gala will be held at the Fort Bend Country Club with individual tickets costing $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door. There will be a live and silent auction and a raffle, all to raise money to fight heart disease and stroke.
“We are honored to have OakBend Medical Center as our major sponsor this year,” stated Sandy McClesky, the publicity chair for the event. “OakBend is the only hospital in Fort Bend County to have received the Gold Plus Award for 7 consecutive years, more than any other hospital.”
