 OakBend Welcomes Naomi McCants MD & Mona Sheth MD

RICHMOND, TX
– (April 25, 2007) - OakBend Medical Group is pleased to introduce two
new family practitioners to the Doctors’ Center Family Practice, Dr.
Naomi McCants and Dr. Mona Sheth. Both physicians are seeing new
patients at the Doctors’ Center at New Territory. They also offer
Saturday office hours - 9:00am to 11:00am.
Naomi McCants M.D., was born and raised in Houston, graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in
Dallas
before returning home to complete her residency requirements. She
enjoys traveling with her husband and plays several instruments,
including the guitar, harp and violin. Dr. McCants enjoys working in
family practice but is particularly interested in caring for women and
young children. She also performs minor procedures in office.
Born
in India, Mona Sheth M.D., who is a twin, came to the U.S. with her
military family and settled in Los Angeles before moving to Texas. She
completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science
Center at San Antonio and moved to the Houston area in 2001. Dr. Sheth
has special training in caring for diabetic and hypertension patients
and treating adolescences. When she is not practicing medicine, she
spends time with her husband and young son. She also enjoys Indian
folk dancing, tennis and playing board games.
