Visitors Information
OakBend
Medical Center welcomes visitors to the hospital. In order for us to
better care for our patients, we ask that visitors adhere to the
following:
Hospital-wide
Children under the age of 13 are not recommended to visit, but may be allowed with both physician and caregiver approval.
If a patient's condition warrants, overnight visitors are limited to one family member per night.
Patients in semi-private rooms - may not have overnight visitors.
Quiet surroundings must be maintained. Visitors are requested not to congregate in patient care areas.
Visitors with respiratory infections or any signs of communicable infections must wear a mask.
Intensive Care Unit
Visitation is limited to immediate family only - two people at a time.
Children under the age of 13 are not permitted.
Birthing Unit (Second Floor - Williams Way Campus))
To
ensure a safe and secure environment for our babies, children under 12
are not permitted unless they are siblings of a newborn.
Siblings are not permitted to stay overnight.
Visitors should be free of signs or symptoms of infection.
Between November 1st and March 31st, children with ANY signs of an illess should not visit the Birthing Unit.
