RICHMOND, TX - (February 13, 2007) - OakBend
Medical Center is pleased to welcome James Pearce, MD to our Medical
Group. Dr. Pearce was raised in Southwest Houston and attended Texas
A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Lade with a degree in
Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Pearce
always knew that he wanted to help people with the career that he
chose, especially children. He went on to receive a medical degree
from Texas Tech University in 2000 - graduating in the top 10% of his
class, earning Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
It
was during medical school rotations that Dr. Pearce decided that he
liked the variety of family practice. He completed his residency
training in family practice in Houston. He is Board Certified and his
practice ranges from newborns to geriatrics. In his daily practice,
Dr. Pearce covers anything from annual physicals, well woman exams,
well child exams, sick visits and treatments of chronic medical
illnesses.
Dr.
Pearce lives with his wife and their two children in Fort Bend County.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, movies, running,
exercising and a variety of other sports.
