Job Requirements

Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent.  Must have completed trade school or apprenticeship in a commercial electrician discipline.

Minimum Work Experience

Five years experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment. Knowledge of blueprints, Electrical system for a large facilty familar with Emergency Generator Equipment.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Maintenance electricians license or ability to acquire. Electrical Journeymen License

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Must be able to read and write English and follow oral and written instructions and interpret electrical schematics.  Must be physically able to perform manual work involving lifting up to 60 pounds, working in confined quarters, considerable walking and be able to use stairs in an emergency.
