OakBend Cancer Conference
OakBend Medical Center hosts a monthly Cancer Conference. This is a mutidisciplinary forum dedicated to improving the care of cancer patients by contributing to the patient management process and outcomes, and providing education to physicians and other staff in attendance. Typically, three cancer cases are presented with discussion of their diagnosis, staging, treatment and quality of life. Cancer Conference is held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12:15pm in the Conference Center at 1705 Jackson Street. For more information about Cancer Conference call 281-633-4077.
Cancer Support Services
OakBend Medical Center has established a wide variety of cancer support services and community screening events. Our campus also has a designated cancer resource center through the American Cancer Society. This information can answer questions that cancer patients, their families or friends may have about cancer in addition to providing help in finding services.
